Tricia’s SunButter “Cheese Ball” Recipe

This is an absolutely nut free and fun recipe for get togethers – or an afternoon snack at home!

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup SunButter
  • 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips (I used Hershey brand for allergy-friendliness)
  • graham crackers, teddy grahams, apples or your favorite allergy-friendly item for dipping

Directions

1. Mix together first four ingredients with electric mixer.

2. Form the mixture into a ‘ball’ shape and wrap in plastic wrap.

3. Place in freezer for one and one half hours.

4. Roll SunButter ball in chocolate chips. You may have to press some of the chips into the ball.

5. Place your ball on a serving dish, cover and freeze for 2-3 hours. (We may have skipped this step and eaten it right away!) If you freeze longer, you will need to let it defrost for about half an hour before serving.

6. Serve with apple slices or crackers for an absolutely tasty dip!
